Haven't blogged much lately. Been busy with work and life. Been to Coorg and back and now going to Ladakh for a fortnight. Just got an invite for Picasa Web (The Flickr killer ?) I leave you with some portraits of life.
A must see?. Leave comments and let me know what you think of my first shot at amateur photography.

| » Rings of the moon |
It was Sunday night (17th Sept 2005). Me, rishikesh and thephenom were walking back from Forum after a heavy dinner and watching the movie "Salaam Namaste" (Movie is worth watching only for Javed Jaffrey's comedy scenes). None of the rickshaw drivers were ready to relent and give us a drop and so we had to walk back.
While walking back, rishikesh looked at the sky and saw something strange and he said "The moon has rings". I looked up skeptically to notice what he was saying was true. So I went back home, pulled out my digital camera and got these photos. They are not as good as they could have been as the exposure time was less. Nonetheless, here's what we saw.

The phenomenon we saw is explained here and here
The whole flickr set is here.
